Wilier Bikes showcases its 2011 line-up with some updated models and new additions to its existing roster of bikes. The Cento Uno Superleggera gets updated with new special edition colors to commemorate the victories of Cunego and Petacchi on the Giro d’Italia.

The Izoard XP still follows the same tubing and design as that of its predecessor, however, its carbon composition now has an outer layer of UD carbon fiber. Another upgrade is to have the fork curved to make the Izoard XP be more stable and perform better.

The La Triestina is a new aluminum model with a profile similar to that of the Cento Uno series. Triple butted tubing and smooth welding gives it a sleek and lightweight finish that promises quality performance.

Wilier introduces the new 2011 Gran Turismo for the sole purpose of delivering to the riding public stiffness in an efficient high quality performance road race frame—which gives room for comfort and maneuverability over far and long rides. Wilier promises performance with comfort and lateral stiffness with vertical stability, never leaving sportiveness and style for granted.

The Gran Turismo adapts the asymmetric seat stay of the top rated Cento I and is equipped with what Wilier describes as a ‘Razor Edge design’ up front, which could be elaborately seen as a series of sharp edges on its main frame and semi-aero fork. Inside the frame runs the cables, which are easy to thread. Wilier and FSA collaborated in installing the seamless bolt-ons of the frame and FSA provided the finishing kit.
