SRAM has produced the Truvativ X-Guide Chain Device by chain device experts MRP for 2012. This is part of SRAM’s answer to the needs of gravity riders. With downhill and cross-country racers in mind, Truvativ specifically designed this new chain device for double ring chainsets.

Chain drops are completely eliminated by the front mech. Aside from being fully adjustable, it also has a low profile and sleek design to avoid interference during riding. For front derailleurs, there is just a sealed bottom pulley and a honeycomb plastic skid plate at the front instead of a top guide.

Weighing very light at only 155g, the 2012 Truvativ X-Guide Chain Device can be mounted though ISCG or ISCG 05 tabs or on the bottom bracket. Moreover, it has a captive hardware and it will be available in black and white versions.
