The bank announced on Friday that it will terminate its sponsorship of the ProTour team at the end of the 2010 season. Team manager Trey Greenwood says that finding a new sponsor will be “a big challenge,” but the team remains optimistic. The team was surprised about the bank’s withdrawal, no pun intended, but they are happy with getting the news with enough advance notice. The team went through the same situation in 2008 with CSC before signing with Saxo Bank. Check back often for more news on team Saxo Bank’s sponsor-search….
