Fyxation and Answer collaborated in 2011 to make an urban BMX stem called SEVENTY75 that goes with their tires, grips, and end caps. SEVENTY75, which has a 31.8mm clamp, is a co-branded version of the DJ Stem from Answer Products.

Made from high strength 7075 series alloy with a wide faceplate, the stem offers extra stiffness and equally distributed clamp force. The stem is available in 35mm and 50mm lengths and in five different color face plates, which are pink, orange, green, black, and white.

Since it is originally intended for dirt jump applications, the 2011 Fyxation x Answer SEVENTY75 BMX Stem is perfect for riders who favor a high-end stem that can take abuse. Indeed, this stem is ideal for park and street rides and mountain biking.

Syncros introduces a new type of stem for 2011, the FreeRide Intelligent Clamp or FRIC. What makes the FRIC stem unique is that it is forged, making it lighter than its CNC machined counterparts. It weighs only 124g. It features a 260 degree faceplate bar clamp wrapped on the handlebar which translates to better control of the stem. This will also let you fit the tapered portion of the bar through.

The 2011 Syncros FRIC Stem also has a unique front face. This is a patented face by Syncros. The FRIC Stem comes in 45mm only and with two color options, black with chrome faceplate or white with black faceplate. It will be available in December. MSRP is $79.95.

Gravity reveals new components under Gravity Light. The Gravity Light Stem features new graphics from Andrew Taylor. Previous stems from Gravity were CNC’d which meant use of more material. The Gravity Light Stem is 3D forged. This is a process where sheer force shaped and formed the stem through weight and pressure without the need for excess material to make it strong and durable.

The Gravity Light Stem weighs 145 grams which supports its lightweight quality. It comes in three lengths of 90, 75 and 60mm.

The Gravity Light Chainguide may seem just like any other chainguide in its design but the material used in making this component is the Dupont Hytrel composite. It has an aluminum backplate. ISCG and OSCG-05 mounting tabs are compatible with it. 36 or 38 tooth rings can also be used.

Rotor, a company famous for their products such as cranks, non-circular chain rings and handle bar stems now introduces their latest addition to their product, the Rotor SX Handlebar Stem. This stem is somewhat identical to a previous stem they had before, only better.

They made two models on this handlebars, the S2 and the SX. The S2 is almost the same to the old Rotor S1 Stem, only  that the S2 has adopted the T25 Torx-Headed Dual Thread Technology which has clamping bolts in place and a 3mm Allen-head DTT bolts of the S1 thus making this new change way better.

The SX model however, was a pre-production sample before. The changes made is that the SX uses four bolts while the S2 uses 2. SX was also raised to a 2.5 degree instead of the 7.5 degree, it is much heavier than that of the regular handlebar by…
