Franco Bicycles introduces the Franco Balcom Road bike at $4799. Founders/cousins Julian Franco and Hector believes that the new model is unique and worth the investment. The entry-level frameset retails at $1999 while the entry-level bike is priced at $2999. The Franco Balcom Road frame is made with Toray T800 carbon material. It comes with a standard or integrated seatpost. Customers have the option to mix and match the parts and components of the bike. Customization can be made with the assistance of a pro mechanic.
The Franco Balcom Road weighs 14.1lbs. It has five sizes with two headtube options. The short headtube is called Race while the long headtube is named Endurance. It comes with ProLogo saddles with blue trims. Franco Bicycles claim that it has an “all-day-in-the-saddle” and to support this, the road bike has a bump absorption design which takes on most of the shock you would feel…
