Downhill, Gravity East #1, coming from unknown sources, rumor has it that Trek World Racing new signing Neko Mulally broke his lower arm during a race run. This is going to be tough on Mulally’s bid for the Junior World Cup this year, as well for his Dirt Fantasy League Fans.

During last weekend’s first round of the Gravity East DH Series at Massanutten (USA), an accident in the training run cost Neko Mulally a compound fracture on his arm, 3/4 down of the radius bone to his wrist.

Neko consulted with a specialist in Philadelphia yesterday after the swelling subsided. The Specialist who handles sporting injuries on a regular basis confirmed that Neko’s condition is serious but it could have been worst.

massanutten yee ha welcomes mulally 300x199   Massanutten Yee Ha! Welcomes MulallyNeko Mulally, 17 will be competing at round one of the Gravity East Series at Massanutten Yee Ha! Downhill in Virginia this weekend on May 1. The defending champ who comes from Reading, Pennsylvania was excited to join in the competition. “I’m stoked to do a race at home.”

For the 2010 season, the young cyclist signed for Trek World Racing and will race the full World Cup series. Mullaly shares that the Gravity East Series is his choice to make him more prepared for this season since the venue once hosted the downhill World Cup. “No other race series would prepare me better for 2010 in the World Cup.”
