With La Ruta de los Conquistadores coming to a close in its final day, stage four, Manuel Prado comes out on top for the men and Louise Kobin for the women. For Prado, its his first win at La Ruta; Kobin has won it before, the last time was in 2005. Stage four was plagued with rain, as race media director J. Andres Vargas explains; “It’s rained all night in Turrialba and all day throughout the race, non-stop. All together, 172 racers from all over the world took part in La Ruta de los Conquistadores.
