Another color scheme of the 2011 Cinelli Strato road bike was on display at Interbike. This particular Strato features two colors of black and blue–not as flashy as the blue/white/red model.

The Cinelli 2011 Strato is a lightweight frame, running squared off down tubes and seat tubes for added stiffness. A tapered head tube has also been added, making the 2011 Strato a full on dedicated race bike.

Upon ordering, you can request the black/blue color way of the 2011 Strato. You will receive a matching Ram 2 integrated handlebar and Ram seat post with your setup.

For 2011, SE revamped the PK Ripper fixed, making it stronger and more geared towards tricks.

The SE 2011 PK Ripper Fixed frame is redesigned with 6066 alloy tubing, making it stronger than its predecessor. A triangle piece is fused between the top tube and bottom tube, another addition to strengthening the PK Ripper. A thicker tubing and wider diameter is throughout the frame.

The forks are SE Landing Gear, which SE claims to be stronger than the 2010 version.

Components of the 2011 SE PK Ripper are the Affix clamp stem, SE 3-piece 48 spline crankset and a shoulder bolt to prevent slipping, Velocity Chukker rims with a high flange flip flop hub, and Odyssey Twisted plastic pedals.

The Brooks Oxford rain cape has magnets in the straps that wrap around your handlebars, allowing rain to slide off via its angle. For your safety in low light conditions, Brooks also added reflective JB Raver tweed.

Some jackets do not hold up to par against rain, and in some cases will soak your clothes. The Brooks Oxford roll up rain cape is made of waterproof cotton preventing this issue.

The Globe Roll 2 and 1 are back for 2011, and some small changes have been made to the line.

The 2011 Globe Roll fixed now has a custom drop out to match the front, and has an added washer at the rear, where only a front washer was found on its predecessor.

The Globe 2011 Roll 2 uses Reynolds 520 Cr-Mo frame, Cr-Mo fork, alloy riser bars, flip flop hub, and deep V 700c rims. Available in grey and orange, retail on it is $830.

Moving to the 2011 Globe Roll 1 which contains Cr-Mo frame and fork, flip flop hubs, riser bars, and deep V 700c rims. With more colors than the Globe 2, the 2011 Globe 1 comes in black, grey, teal, and white. MSRP is $550.

The Fuji Supreme women’s road bike was pulled off the market last year, but will reappear in 2011.

The 2011 Fuji Supreme features three models, 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0. Fuji said the reason they pulled the Supreme was because women racers were preferring the SL1, since the Supreme wasn’t as light.

Fuji took what they learned from the SST model and applied it to the 2011 Fuji Supreme. Both the 2011 Supreme and SST use the same fork, downtube technology and chainstays known as ribbed technology. This is were a sheet of carbon fiber is running from the top and bottom of the tubing. Overall this makes the Supreme lighter and stiffer.

It is no secret that women require different geometries then men. The 2011 Supreme satisfies the women cycling market with shorter top tubes, lower handlebar height, and a shorter headtube.

Some companies release cross bikes as a hybrid model, where the bike can also be used as a commuter. This is not the case for the 2011 Colnago World Cup, a true cross racing bike.

The Colnago 2011 World Cup features a fully redesigned frame. Last year, Colnago used 6000 series aluminum, and in 2011 the World Cup upgrades to a 7000 series aluminum. A hydroformed frame and shoulder are reinforcements that add to this strong cross bike for the next year.
