One of the latest hybrid bikes for 2012 is the Menona from Diamondback. Along with the high-quality butted 6061-T6 aluminum sport hybrid frame is an SR Suntour NEX 4110 suspension fork with 63mm of travel, making the Menona a top-end hybrid bike.

Also offered by this hybrid bike are Tektro Novela mechanical disk brakes as well as some extras, which are added to allow easy handling in almost all riding conditions. Its Shimano crankset comes with an integrated chain guard while its Shimano Acera rear derailleur has EF-TX51 eight-speed EZ-fire shifters.

One of the new 29er bikes to be released for 2012 is the Sortie from Diamondback. The 4.5” trail frame of the Sortie is a weapons-grade aluminum, which comes with a tapered head tube, knuckle box suspension platform, and 135x10mm vertical drop outs.

With impressive specs, the Sortie frame is a bruiser that tackles pretty much any terrain very well, especially because even with full XTR 3×10 and Easton EA70 wheels and cockpit, it weighs in at only 13.15kg.

Using Knucklebox suspension design, the 2012 Diamondback Sortie 29er Bike is built around 100mm in the rear and 120mm in the front. The design also offers 18” chain stays and uses a High Direct Mount front derailleur that makes the illusion of a loose seat angle though actually, it is around 72.5-73 degrees effective.

Diamondback shared an exclusive look at the 2012 Dream Liner, a slope style mountain bike.

The 2012 Diamondback Dream Liner was refined and tested for years, and is set to launch at the end of next year for 2012. Taking a brief glance, you can see the Dream Liner received inspiration from the Mission platform, the only difference in frame between the two is the Dream Liner uses a more compact frame and 4 inches of travel.

Component specifications are not dialed in at this point, but a ton of detail went into the frame, using a knuckle box platform based around the belt crank, cradle shock protected, and single pivot full bar design. Its unique ingenuity enables a low leverage ratio plus low compact design for a better center of gravity and a tighter feel.

The Joker has been apart of the Diamondback line for sometime now, and as a entry level street/park bmx bike (or even flatland), they will bring it out again for 2011.

The 2011 Diamondback Joker features a Hi-ten steel frame with welded gyro tabs and cable routes, Hi-ten steel 1 1/4 forks with U-brake mounts, 175mm tubular chromoly 3-piece crank, and 44t steel sprocket (can you say dinner plate?).

The 2011 Diamondback Mission 1 features Weapons Grade Aluminum Mission 6″ all mountain frame with knuckle box suspension platform, Fox 32 Float RL O/B 150mm fork, Fox Float RP23 XV Rear Shock, Truvativ Blaze 2 Speed with AM Guard crankset, MX 260D Wall Rims, and Hayes Stroker Ryde Hydraulic disc brakes. Available in Grey.
