2011 ushers the Electronic Performance Optimizer, the first e-bike from Cube Bikes. It has two versions, the EPO and the EPO FE. The EPO is for urban riding while the EPO FE has fenders and Busch&Müller lights.
The EPO features a high performance 7005 aluminum alloy frame which is triple butted and has Hydroformed technology to make the frame stiff yet light. The battery is hidden in the seatpost. It has an aluminum tapered fork, Shimano components, integrated post mount and in-frame charging. It also has integrated cable routing and pinhead theft secured.
The EPO also has Frame Save System replaceable derailleur hanger. Cube uses a multi-layer paint which also helps save weight.
