England-based Milk Bikes might have produced some of the lowest maintenance commuter bikes out.

According to Milk Bikes founders Mark Meadows and Richard Craven, the company’s goal was to design and market a bike that can easily be taken to work and back on the daily. The two are long time cyclists and commuters who started Milk in 2010 in order to pursue their love for riding to work without the hassle of a high maintenance ride.

A lot of labor and man-hours have been utilized in order to create the designs for the bike’s frameset and forks as well as components to be used for the bike. Currently there are two prototypes being built and tested in Essex, UK. Both of which will be available this spring.
