Shimano has released the 2011 SLX triple chainset that features Dyna-Sys to make it compatible with a 10-speed drivetrains. The hollow-forged arms allowed for lighter weight. With polished arms, the SLX chainset looks neat and elegant.
Its ring is made from steel inner and aluminum outer while the middle is carbon composite with steel teeth. On the inside of the rings, the shifting pins and ramps guarantee that shifting meets the usual high Shimano standard. This means that the chainset ensures crisp and quiet shifts all the time.
From 9-speed, the 2011 Shimano SLX Dyna-Sys Chainset transitioned to 10-speed. This new chainset from Shimano features not only a reasonable price but amazing performance as well. Other features include an easy to fit Hollowtech II bottom bracket, smooth bearings, and reliable sealing.
