Combining a double-butted hydroformed top and downtubes with a forged bottom bracket piece and a tapered headtube, the front triangle strength and stiffness are maximized.Its hydroformed 6061-T6 alloy tubes increase strength and beefiness, making the Horsethief a real all-mountain worthy bike.
Engineered to be tough enough for huge rides, the 2012 Salsa Horsethief Full-Suspension 29er Trail Bike allows riders to tackle any rugged terrains with confidence. With a 120mm of rear wheel travel, the aluminum alloy frame of the Horsethief is able to take a 120-140mm suspension fork.
