Bumping the 928 SL for the top model in the HoC series (Hors Category) is the newly introduced 2011 Bianchi Oltre, a high end road bike.

Fitting its name perfectly, the Oltre which means “Beyond Limit” features monocoque design constructed of high density carbon composite. This will adds to the stiffness for the Bianchi 2011 Oltre.

Bianchi has used a technology on the Oltre called CNT aka Carbon Nano Tube. CNT is epoxy resign and nano powder added for reduction in micro fractures. This adds overall durability by 49%, and 20% higher than the previous nano technology.

Also new from Bianchi is the X-TeX design around the head tube, which is basically internal molding shaping the inner walls of carbon, then abbreviations rise. The procedure increases stiffness, and resistance to impact. Best part, the weight stays the same.

Another new addition to Bianchi’s fixed department is the 2011 Pista Sei Giorni.

The Bianchi 2011 Pista Sei Giorni is a tribute to the 6 day track races, which lasts 24 hours a day, and the winning team is that who completes the most laps. Pista Sei Giorni translates to Track Six Days.

Now, the 2011 Bianchi Pista Sei Giorni fixed features a aluminum frame and fork, 48t crank, 16t fixed cog (with a single speed flip flop), drop track handlebars, and a front brake (although not shown in the picture). A dominate white paint job, plus red hints are sure to turn a few heads.

Bianchi will introduce a few new fixed gear bikes for 2011 (some have released in previous years, just new colors added). One model we take a look at is the Pista Dalmine.

Not information is known on the 2011 Bianchi Pista Dalmine, although it comes with flat bars, aluminum frame and fork (mix of aluminum and carbon), 48t crank, and SRAM Torpedo fixed and freewheel hub. We must admit, the colorway of white and aqua blue is very appealing. We will update the post with a MSRP shortly.

Bianchi will introduce yet another beautiful road bike machine for 2011, the Sempre.

2011 Bianchi Sempre is race ready, full carbon, and a overall new frame design which uses NanoTech carbon technology. Bianchi doesn’t stop there, they also added oversized tubing, BB30, and Bianchi’s UTSS technology (Ultra Thin Seat Stay).

The first Bianchi Sempre for 2011 features a Shimano 105 drivetrain, FSA BB30 Gossamer alloy crankset. With a retail price of $2,299.99, Bianchi made the Sempre a affordable road bike for those that need a competitive edge.

Available in black and red with white Graphics, the frame weighs in at 1120 grams. Sizes to choose from are 50, 53, 55, 57, 59 and 61cm.

The models Cavaria and Zurigo are named after cyclocross courses in Europe where Bianchi experienced cyclocross adventure. The Cavaria has a carbon platform with a Celeste paint job. It features World Champion graphics and Shimano Ultegra shifters and derailleurs. The Cavaria ride gets complete with Avid Shorty cross brakes and Vittoria Cross XG Pro tires. It also uses FSA Energy cross crankset and Fulcrum 7 wheels. The Cavaria comes in sizes of 49, 52, 55, 58 and 61. MSRP is $2699.99.

The Bianchi Zurigo retails for $1599.99 and has an alloy platform with a carbon race fork. It features SRAM’s new Apex shifters and derailleurs and FSA Omega crankset. A new mountain bike is at the forefront for Bianchi. It unveils the Methanol SL Team Edition, the flag bearer for their 2010 MTB collection. To be used by the TX Active Bianchi Team this season, the bike comes in special colour schemes of blue that complements the jerseys used by the riders, as well as the San Marco saddles and Magura brakes.

The Bianchi Methanol SL Team Edition offers improved features by its ERC (embedded Reinforcement Construction) design that minimizes frame twisting and optimizes control. The carbon monocoque frame aims to be efficient, lightweight and sturdy. This led to the manufacturing components of the frame to be a mix from three differenet high modulus fibers.
