WeThePeople shares the 2011 line of BMX bikes in a flip book fashion, and since the 2010 models where a highlight, they needed to take the line in a new direction, while still covering riding needs.

2011 WeThePeople BMX paid more attention to the details and style aesthetics, while refining and crafting components to meet standards of the above and beyond rider. Some of the highlights for 2011 are as follows: Stronger frame designs including gusset and tapered down tubes, removable brake system (added to the pro and elite series), Hydroformed fork steer tubes (this is on beginner all the way up to pro models), Zodiac, Volta and Envy will have a Left/Right side cassette hub, and new Salt Plus components.

2011 felt f1 300x225 2011 Felt F1 Road BikeFelt F1 in 2011 meant several changes from the 2010 model. It welcomes the BB30 bottom bracket shell and new proprietary removable polyurethane bladders. The F1 frame is made from a special carbon fiber material which features no fillers for its tubes. It also has molded hollow carbon fiber dropouts.

From 900g, the 2011 Felt F1 now weighs at 800g in a 56cm frame. It also features a fork with tapered steerer.

The F1 also highlights modified tubes which shows varying shapes. Top tubes and down tubes are shaped like a square as it is found at the head tube. However, the top tube becomes round towards the area where it connects to the seat tube. As for the down tube, it is round on its midsection and then reverts back to the square-like share at the bottom bracket area.

Felt successfully finds a way to outdo its 2010 F1 with the…

Aside from the F1, Felt also upgraded the DA for 2011. Engineered with the help of new computer technology with the goal to come up with a faster and stiffer TT and triathlon bike, the DA for 2011 seems to fit the bill.

The 2011 DA features V-brakes for better aerodynamics, BB30 bottom bracket shell and a frame which has 25% more surface area than the 2010 model. Even with this notable change, the 2011 DA is only 2% heavier.

Felt claims that the new DA is 14% faster and 13% stiffer than its predecessor. It features S-Bend down tube as well as lipped seat tube for maximum performance. It also has a Bayonet 3 headtube and fork at 35mm. Currently, Felt makes use of 3/4″ bearings.

There is an adjustable rise stem integrated into the Bayonet system and a more durable seatpost clamp to address complaints on the 2010 DA clamps…

Seems like all the popular movies are releasing in 3D, so why not start the trend in other areas? This is exactly what Stereo Bike Co. did with their 2011 catalog.

Stereo Bike Co. is the first to create a 3D catalog for BMX bikes (and bikes in general). Giving people that are interested in buying a 2011 Stereo Bike, or retailers a creative look at the line. In fact, they could win a design award.

Known as “Stereo Vision”, the catalog stats “We at Stereo Bikes present a new way of exploring our products: Stereo Vision.” “So put on the 3D High Voltage Vision Goggles and be prepared for a 3D Stereo journey. Go ahead and grab the catalogue, and for the first time in BMX history, you’ll see them like you’ve never seen them before.”

SE is starting to show some of their 2011 fixed gear bikes, and with the first viewing we have the Draft and Draft Lite.

As of now, not much information is known on the 2011 SE Draft and Draft Lite, although from the previous year, they both are reasonably priced (we take it they will fall in the same trend). What is most noticeable is the color schemes available. One of the 2011 Drafts seems to take on some inspiration from the Germany, and overall they are using brighter colors.

MSRP is not known just yet, but they are expected to hit USA SE retailers in October 2010.
