2011 cannondale lefty forks 182x300   2011 Cannondale Lefty ForksCannondale worked with RockShox on giving the Lefty forks new specs. The new Lefty uses RockShox Solo Air design and 1.5” headtube. It also has 25mm to 15mm axle and a dual-crown design. The compression damping makes the Lefty firmer and the square stauchion creates a mechanical movement with its needle bearings.

It also has a built-in low-speed compression valve and a 2.0 hole size. Air volume for the forks can be adjusted with spacers at the bottom of the air chamber with the removal of the lower cap. All of these modifications make the Lefty a stiffer and smoother fork.

Featuring a Japanese butted 4130 Cro-mo ED (Electronic Deposit) frame that is treated for corrosion, with a frame weight of 6 pounds 2 ounces. A integrated headset has been added for a smooth look, CNC dropouts are also placed to run your traditional gears or single speed.

The Transition 2011 TransAM utilizes a 140mm fork, but can also accept a 160mm. Depending on the complete build you want (Geared $2,508.00, Singlespeed $2,238.00) the bike will weigh in between 23 – 25 pounds. Retail for the frame is $569.00. Available in Red, Green, or Pewter.

Axon RC is SR Suntour best suspension fork, and for 2011 they will release it with monocoque carbon fiber. Comparing to last years model, the 2011 SR Suntour Axon RC Fork losses 130 grams.

Using a 15mm thru axle, the SR Suntour 2011 RC weighs 1,539 grams. You have the option of running 80mm or 100mm of travel, and is best suited for cross country riding where front suspension is needed. Due to the carbon lowers, they will only fit with SR 150QLOC titanium 15mm thru-axles.

The 2011 Axon RC uses 32mm aluminum upper stanchions, hollow forged alloy crown plus allow steerer tube, you can also get a tapered configuration. A modified air spring gives it better downhill performance, while the new damper cartridges are tuned to comply with the air springs.

As of now, the retail price is unknown, but will hit retailers March 2011.

Under the 26 inch freestyle line, the 2011 Porter was designed by Team Haro’s own Eric Porter. It features an aluminum frame and dual-suspension with RockShox Argyle fork and Fox Van R coil/over for rear suspension. The Thread also has an aluminum frame and Marzocchi suspension with e-thirteen chain guides. On the other hand, the Steel Reserve uses a double-butted chromoly frame, Marzocchi suspension and Avid BBDB5 disc brakes.

The Haro 2011 Shift R5 is a dual-suspension trailbike which features 4.5 inches of travel, Rockshox suspension and forged aluminum frame junctions. It has Shimano M486 hydraulic disc brakes and MSRP of $1,450.

New modifications can be seen on the 2011 Propain Rage 8.8. The downhill bike from the German company is now faster than the previous version.

The 2011 Rage 8.8 features reduced travel from 245mm to 225mm or 8.8 inches and the Pro10 suspension system. The latest chain guides are now compatible with the ISCG-05 on the bike and the bottom bracket is now lowered by 10mm. There’s a new tapered steering tube to replace the 1.5″ head tube.

The frame weighs 4kg and it has new Propain exchangeable dropouts. This will allow you to choose your axle system. It also has better stroke progression than the previous model. The frame is stiffer and stronger due to the new hydroformed tubes.

The 2011 Propain Rage 8.8 comes in two color combination’s of black, blue, yellow and red, white, black.

The 2011 D660 features a double butted aluminum alloy frame with forged dropouts. It also has a 100mm RockShox Reba SL fork and Ritchey bar, stem and post. It has SRAM 2×10 drivetrian, Tektro Draco Hydraulic brakes, Alex DP20 rim and WTB Prowler 29er tires. MSRP is $1799.

At $899, the Redline D600 comes with a 6061 double butted front triangle, Avid BB5 disc brakes and a RockShox Dart 3 fork. It also features SRAM X5 2×9 drivetrain, Alex DH19 wheels and WTB tires.
