Haro introduces the Objekt, a fixed gear bike that you can also use for your daily commutes. It comes in colors of white and lime and in three sizes (XS, S and M). The Objekt retails for $549.99.

The 2011 Haro Objekt features a Haro 700c Fixed Gear steel frame with a chromoly fork. It uses Weinmann Zac-19 rims and Kenda 700x38c tires. Haro platform pedals, saddle and BMX grips were also packaged on the Objekt. It also has a 27.2mm seatpost and freewheel 16T fixed gear cog.

The Objekt comes with an aluminum fli-flop rear hub, tubular chromoly cranks, chromoly riser bar and Tektro dual-pivot brakes for better control and handling.

Bontrager releases a new line from the makings of its inForm Science of Comfort technology, the 2011 Affinity saddle. Bontrager made Affinity for riders that take to riding on an upright position for both road and off-road trails. The Affinity series features size specific curvature as well as a posture specific design. With gender specific measurements, the saddles also has a unique contour relief zone and different density padding.

The Affinity saddle features hollow titanium rails and a synthetic leather cover. The saddle is different from other Bontrager saddles because it has lower tails. The foam on the rear is firmer while the foam on the nose is much softer for better comfort.

Cotic now has a new cyclocross offer for 2011 called the ‘X’. The ‘cross bike was initially requested for cyclocross athlete Kate Potter. The first ‘X’ was a Reynolds 853 frame. Doing well at the races, Cotic decided to manufactur a more affordable version of the frame that can cater for race as well as for daily commutes.

The production of the X involved a custom butted heat treated cromoly tubeset but still follows the geometry of the 853 frame. It has a oval top tube, which helps for shouldering, and there are no cable stops. It also features the Cotic wishbone design at the rear with bridgeless chainstays and gussets under the downtube.

Surly Bikes offers its latest frame-hitch Trailer. Made from the TIG-welded 4130 Cro Moly steel, the Surly Trailer is sturdy and durable for all your required hauling tasks. The 304 stainless steel, which is corrosion and rust resistant, guarantees its longetivity.

The beds have threaded eyelets that easily bolt for down decking. The hitch system is made to fit any cargo bike and does not clamp to the frame tubes of the bike. It operates with full suspension frames, disc brakes, rear racks and fenders, which could be adjusted and compatible to hub widths from 120-145mm and could be streamlined with the center line of the trailer and bike.

Knolly shows its new mountain bike, the Chilcotin at Interbike 2010. Built for downhill riding or simply trail climbing rides, the Chilcotin has a 6” travel frame that weighs 7.5lbs. Stevens Bikes from Germany unfolds the Ventoux road race bike for 2011. It was designed based on surveys and tests conducted in Europe with feedback from cycling enthusiasts. Weighing 965g, the Ventoux has a carbon UD HMF monocoque hybrid superlite frame and a full carbon SL UD 1 1/8″-1 1/2″ fork. It also gives an option for electronic Dura Ace components.

Vince Caceres from Stevens Bikes Canada adds that it’s a “stiff long-distance comfort bike”. With a Ritchey carbon seat post and pressfit bottom bracket, the Ventoux is not only comfortable, it is also very stiff. It also features FSA integrated 42 headset with carbon cap.

The 2011 Stevens Ventoux comes in 7 sizes and in colors of carbon red and white. The Di2 model comes in white with embedded wiring. It retails at $2500.

The 2011 BMC Fourstroke FS01 frame weighs 2000 grams which includes the shock system. Performance on the Fourstroke is tuned with the APS suspension system and its components.

Ensuring you do not lose power due to adaptors, BMC bolted the brake mount to the frame.
