Greg LeMond, a legend in cycling, delivers a new bike trainer part of the LeMond Fitness line. Known as the Revolution, it is said to be one of the leaders in real life feel performance.

The LeMond Revolution Bike Trainer works as a resistance trainer, and uses HIT which stands for High Inertia Technology plus it works with a large weighted flywheel that acts as a rolling bicycle, will spin freely, and adds wind resistance just like you are riding on the open roads. Containing a overall natural feel, even when slowing down you won’t feel lag.

Inspired by the wind resistance trainer that Greg LeMond used while partaking in the Tour de France. “Bike trainers have to be comfortable and must directly lead to better performance on the road in order to be effective,” said LeMond. “Alternative magnetic, fluid and mechanical trainers create resistance that feels like…

Dave Weagle is also the creator of the World Champion and the internationally accepted dw-link suspension and the Delta System.

Weagle was honored by his colleagues whom together with him, put their minds and technology together to come up with the new designed Split Pivot suspension system making bikes much more fun to ride. He and his partners were greatly thrilled with the response and acceptance with this new Split Pivot frames into the market.

With the Split Pivot suspension system, the capacity to absorb bumps and speed acceleration are rendered to a typical main pivot placement as the dropout pivot allows to simultaneously neutralize the braking forces and leverage ratios to a higher degree making…

keo blade aero 276x300 Look Keo Blade Aero PedalsComing this October is a new pedal system from Look, the Keo Blade Aero. Used recently by Alberto Contador at the prologue and final time trial on the 97th Tour de France, the new pedal system proved to stay true to its name as an aerodynamic advantage on the road.

The prototype pedal system will have the same look and mechanisms that drive the current Keo Blade but features a different design specified to have aerodynamic performance due to a smoother lower area on the pedal. The Look Keo Blade Aero weighs 200 grams, making it slightly heavier than the current 195g Keo Blade. The increase was due to its new shape and material used. Because of this new overall structure of the Keo Blade Aero, Look claims that vertical plane stiffness in the pedal system has improved.

Availability of the Look Keo Blade Aero in the market will be…

97th tour de france recap 300x200 Stage 21 2010 Tour de France 97th Tour RecapThe final stage for the Tour de France saw the glory of its riders in Paris. There’s much to look forward to for 2011’s Tour de France and despite the scandals and controversies, it remains the most exciting race of the year.

The 97th Tour de France saw Alberto Contador of Astana taking the crown without a stage win. Amidst all the controversy, Contador raised the bar after winning for the third time. Contador shares, “It was a Tour where I had a lot of pressure, especially physically as I was not at my best form. It took a lot of confidence to face difficult situations…The three victories were very different. The first, in 2007, was special, because that was the first; last year, the situation was difficult and this made it difficult. And this year I had difficult moments; but I could count on a strong team. I realize…

On stage 20 of the Tour de France, Lance Armstrong and the rest of Team RadioShack wore black Livestrong jerseys with the number 28, this represents the 28 million people in the world with Cancer.

Officials at the 2010 Tour de France demanded Team Radioshack take off the black Livestrong 28 jerseys and put back on the regular red and grey jerseys, and the cyclists had to add their assigned number. This resulted in a delay in the Tour.

Team RadioShack was upset at the situation, including director Johan Bruyneel, who expressed his anger on Twitter writing: Ok people! Now it’s official!” he tweeted. “To be a race commisar (sic), you don’t need brains but only know the rules! Their motto: “c’est le reglement!”

As you can expect, the UCI is unhappy on Bruyneel’s statement. Acting in somewhat good faith, the UCI said any fines from the incident will be…

Velocity came together with Halo Coatings to offer a new addition to the already popular rims, known as the Halo Reflective Rims. Made from a durable powder coating, it looks like graphite but when the sun or light reflects, the rim glistens a bright white.

Floating in the liquid powder coat is millions of microscopic glass beads that hit the surface of the rim, this is how the light reflects off.

Mashing style and safety, the Velocity Halo reflective rims are hand built, and are available online and at bike stores with a Velocity account.

Velocity offers the Halo reflective on the following rims: Deep V (Machined/Non Machined), B43 (Non Machined), Fusion (Machined/Non Machined), Aerohat (Machined/Non Machined), Dyad (Machined/Non Machined), and Cliffhanger (Machined/Non Machined).
