Bianchi will introduce yet another beautiful road bike machine for 2011, the Sempre.

2011 Bianchi Sempre is race ready, full carbon, and a overall new frame design which uses NanoTech carbon technology. Bianchi doesn’t stop there, they also added oversized tubing, BB30, and Bianchi’s UTSS technology (Ultra Thin Seat Stay).

The first Bianchi Sempre for 2011 features a Shimano 105 drivetrain, FSA BB30 Gossamer alloy crankset. With a retail price of $2,299.99, Bianchi made the Sempre a affordable road bike for those that need a competitive edge.

Available in black and red with white Graphics, the frame weighs in at 1120 grams. Sizes to choose from are 50, 53, 55, 57, 59 and 61cm.

Here is a treat for competitive road bike fans, the Specialized 2011 Tarmac Comp Compact! We will showcase the rest of the 2011 Specialized road bike line shortly, and this is first up.

The 2011 Specialized Tarmac Comp Compact uses a FACT carbon fork and FACT IS 8r carbon SL2 frame, which makes the bike light and quicker. Specialized designed the 2011 Tarmac Comp Compact (and other Tarmac’s) alongside sponsored Gerolsteiner squad. Overall, a great bike for racing, or staying ahead of your friends on the road.

Other highlights the 2011 Specialized Tarmac Comp Compact features are Shimano 105 STI shifters, FACT carbon pave seatpost with Zertz insert, alloy stem that is adjustable to 4 positions with a 31.8mm bar clamp, and Romin carbon reinforced saddle. Available in carbon/red/white and white/blue/red.

First launched in the 1970s, then ceased production in the late 1970s, the Raleigh International is back for 2011. Apart of Raleigh Steel road bikes, they are striving to add more performance bound bikes, as the International is one of them.

The 2011 Raleigh International uses mainly black, with hints of white and noticeable red cables. Maybe this was added to give the bike more spice? On to the components, this years model uses a Shimano Dura Ace drivetrain with Dura Ace wheels, while the rest of the parts are provided by FSA (handlebar, stem, seatpost, etc), Selle San Marco (saddle), and Vittoria (tires).

Raleigh finishes off the 2011 International with a Lugged Reynolds 853 butted chromoly frame, and flat crown Lugged Reynolds 853 road fork. Release date and MSRP is unknown at the moment.

In 2011, Raleigh will release the Team road bike once again which will feature a HM2 High Modulus Monocoque carbon frame.

Other Highlights for the Raleigh 2011 Team road bike are carbon monocoque 1-1/8″ to 1.5″ taper fork, SRAM Red derailleurs, SRAM Red BB30 39/53t cranks, and SRAM Red 10 speed shifter. As you can see, the Raleigh 2011 Team favors SRAM.

Lastly, it will use Mavic Ksyrium SL rims, and is available in White. MSRP and release date coming soon.

Lance Armstrong joined forces with Quiznos with the goal to breathe life back into the event which was pivotal in American cycling, the Colorado-based Coors International Bicycle Classic. The upcoming event is called the Quiznos Pro Challenge and is slated to take place on August 22nd-28th, 2011. The seven-day event will be a mixture of sprint, mountain and downtown stages which will take advantage of Colorado’s natural treasures.

Governor Bill Ritter announced how Armstrong is committed to bring back international pro cycling into the heart of Colorado, “Lance and I were committed to bringing this stage race to fruition in 2011, and today’s announcement is a great victory for Colorado and the sport of cycling.”

Nuke Proof announced the launch of their new Plasma Saddles, which uses new rail construction, while advancing the product.

The Nuke Proof Plasma Saddle features a CrN Ti rail compound, which is based on performance. End result, a stronger rail, and lighter in weight. Nuke Proof also teamed up with Velo for their touches and customization.

The Parallel Logo saddles used the Nuke Proof logo and text and brushed chrome rails. Leather was added plus a synthetic grip strip, this is to improve the grip when in muddy conditions. Weighing in at 215 grams, and 275mm x 132mm in size, the Nuke Proof Plasma saddles should be available soon.
