Pinarello has slightly updated its road bike Dogma for 2012. Since 1960, Pinarello has sponsored professional teams that include Team Banesto,Telekom, Caisse d’Epargne, Fassa Bortolo, Prima Alliance, and Sky. For the 2011 Tour de France, the 2012 Pinarello Dogma Road Bike is Team Sky’s new bike.

The minor updates of the bike include a new fork with a weight a little bit reduced. The head tube is again made more integrated in the fork’s profile. Aside from the slightly altered fork, the main changes of the 2012 model are the the new crown and the look of the bike.

While there are slight refinements on the rest of its tubes, the 2012 Pinarello Dogma remains basically unchanged. With a striking apple green color, the bike is equipped with a C50 Shimano wheelset, Shimano Dura Ace Di2, Prologo saddle, Deda handlebars and stem, and Elite water bottle holders.

Also, from the ball of the foot to the bottom of the bridge runs a vent channel in the sole. This will keep cool air flow across the insole. However, spring and summer rides at high speed can be chilly so riders should wear the Nova 2 along with an overshoe or a toe cover.

Claud Butler, a well-known old British name, now linked to budget bikes, has launched a new road bike this 2011 called Torino. It has some nice features, such as supportive handling and amazing comfort guaranteed by the decent Ritchey saddle, seatpost, stem, and bar.

With the help of its non-concealed cables, the Tiagra kit features an incredibly light shifting action. An excellent gear range is also provided by the compact 50/34T chainset and 11-25T cassette. Riders could go up to a 27T sprocket for more help on tackling the hills.

Since it is not specced with an extended head tube that some comfort-orientated bikes are, the Torino could be used with a set of clip-on tri bars for the occasional time trial or triathlon. But because of its heavy wheelset, the 2011 Claud Butler Torino Road Bike may not be suitable for serious competitive riders.
