First introduced in 2010, Pinarello found success with the Lungavita fixed models, and now will release four more in 2011.

Lungavita, which translates to “long life” will release two special models called the Soho and Chelsea, which both use vibrant colors. If this does not fit your fancy, two other simple colors are releasing in red and black.

Comparing the 2011 Pinarello Lungavita to the previous year, the 2011 handlebars are more aggressive for track racing, and Most duel track rims that are deeper.

The Soho 2011 Lungavita might have two option available, a drop bar and flat bar. In the catalog, a flat bar is shown, but the product images distributed on the web shows drop. Retail price should be around $1,200.

One of the beginner offerings to track racing from Fuji is the Classic, and for 2011 three colors will release with its vintage look but updated components.

The 2011 Fuji Classic fixed gear frame is constructed of steel, drilled out bridges for the brakes, 46t Fuji Forged Alloy Track Crank, and Fuji 6061 Butted Road handlebars.

While the colors are yellow, blue, and silver, the only noticeable change at a glance is the decals. MSRP is about $570 USD.

Fixie Inc. reveals the 2011 Peacemaker at EuroBike. It features a drive belt which allows you to shift from singlespeed or fixed. It also has the new QuickRelease Mudguard System to protect you from mud, dirt and grime as you ride leisurely.

The Peacemaker’s frame is made from double butted 4130 aircraft steel. It comes in one finish, the Ice White Shut and has an under paint that helps avoid rust with the anti-rust sealing.

The rear spacing for the Peacemaker is 135mm and there’s also a 25mm tire clearance. It features SSL stainless dropouts with chain tensioner which was integrated. The headset measures 1 1/8.

The 2011 Peacemaker has Alex Race28 rims and Vittoria Zaffi tires. The drivetrain is from Andel Racing with Carbondrive® belt chainwheel 55t. The fork is a Fixie Inc. straight fork with FSA Orbit X headset.

Introducing for 2011 is the Masi Speciale Chixed, a womens specific step through fixed gear.

The Masi 2011 Speciale Chixed uses a shorter reach, which does not compromise the quality, and you can expect the same double butted chromoly frame and fork (which is used on other fixed gear bikes from Masi). The custom track dropouts, and lugged forks add for a vintage look.

Components like the crankset, chainring, wheels, saddle, and handlebars are supplied by Brev.M. Available in sizes 47, 49, 51cm and will release in orange.

After teaser pics and blurred images, we finally have product shots of the Eightinch Butcher Freestyle frame.

Eightinch shows the Butcher Freestyle in black, but according to their website, another color will be revealed. Some of the specifications are double butted 4130 Chromo, Removable 990 Brake Mounts, Removable Cable Mounts, barspin and 700×45 tire clearance, Mid-BB and Integrated Headeset.

Sizes available will be 50, 53, 56, and 59cm. Although a specific retail price is not set, an estimated price is $300 for the frame, and $350 for the matching forks.

Mongoose has released a few fixed gear/single speed models in the past, but in 2011 they will launch the Maurice FS, with FS standing for freestyle.

The 2011 Mongoose Maurice FS will release with the Mongoose Maurice (fixed/single speed, not meant for tricks). The Maurice FS geometry is made to perform barspins and other tricks, and utilizes a one piece bar and stem combination, Thick Slick tires and Weinmann Thunderbird rims.

Lastly, the color scheme will grab attention, while using purple, yellow, and a pearl white. MSRP is about $579 USD.
