2011 verde bmx bikes 1 300x186   2011 Verde BMX BikesVerde Bikes released its 2011 BMX line, claiming it to be the best complete bikes it ever produced. The 2011 line-up are the Cadet, Eon, Luxe, Radia, Prism, Theory and Vex.

The Cadet features 25/9 gearing and Doyle grips. It has a sealed mid-bottom bracket and plastic seat with integrated post. The front rim is painted and it comes in colors of red and teal.

The Eon is undoubtedly the best-seller in the bunch. It gets better with new graphics, a 25/9 gearing, chromoly steerer tube, 2-piece plastic seat/post combo, matching grips and a matte finish. It still has its signature Verde painted spokes and rims. It comes in colors of gold, blue or red.

For the top end bike, the Luxe comes complete with Odyssey Twombolt 2-piece cranks, Cinema 777 rims and Skinwall Stunner tires. It carries more DUO parts with Homan grips, Perf Pivotal seat and Resilite pedals. It comes…

Hoffman Bikes 2011 BMX Components

Hoffman Bikes shares a new video of the 2011 components. Hoffman says the products are almost ready to hit retailers, which many are anticipating. In this preview, for 2011 we have Dinky Sprockets made of 6061 Alloy, 36D pegs constructed from chromo and uses internal machining (also a 7075 alloy aluminum pair), Black Ops Seat, TL Steam, FL Steam, The Razz Grips (many colors to choose from), Nylon Bar Ends, and a glimpse at the new Strowler frame.

For the BMX department, SE displays a small preview of the 2011 bikes. Some oldies but goodies are available from SE, but just like the fixed gears, not much information is known.

First up we have the 2011 SE Big Ripper, standing 29 inches! A favorite amongst taller riders, the Big Ripper features a silver/black/gold color scheme.

The 2011 Quadangle Looptail 24 inch is a resurrected classic, that has been a hit for several years. Using a black/gold colorway.

Hood Rich 2011 SE can be used for dirt or street, and features gray, red, and hints of black.

2011 Floval Flyer is dipped in metallic silver with white forks, handlebars and cranks.

Lastly, the 2011 Heavy Hitter. Composed of mostly flat black, and a old school chrome handlebars and stem. Added are some beefy tires.

Garrett Reynolds + RZA Nike 6.0 Commercial

Garrett Reynolds and hip hop artist turned actor The Rza star in a new commercial for the Nike 6.0 line. Dubbed “Remix”, RZA is doing most of the talking while Garret tears it up. RZA and his crew are making music in one scene, while Reynolds is riding street. Funny part is the RZA mimicking playing the drums, while banging on a BMX.

Haro, a company that has been around since the beginning of BMX, hired Cooke about a year ago and now for the 2011 Haro BMX Bikes, he strives to make them ahead of the others.
