Brand spakin’ new at the Volkswagen Sea Otter Classic Powered by SRAM, protected from the heat at Bell’s booth set-up, sat the Bell Gage helmet designed for 2012. The helmet’s name was derived from the world’s first automotive speed shop’s location, 3633 Gage Avenue, in Bell, CA just outside of Los Angeles.
The Bell helmet features a number of hot selling points. For starters, a whopping 26 vents were used in its design to maximize ventilation. Weighing in at only 240g, the Gage is an ultra-light choice, furthering its comfort qualities, especially when the road is long. Also adding to its appeal is the models many colorways offered (images of each after the fold).
The 2012 Bell Gage bicycle helmet will be available in June at a competitive price, $190, and is expected to drop in small (51-55 cm), medium (55-59 cm) and large (59-63 cm).
