Created for mountain bike cyclists who are fond of long-distance off-road rides is the new 2012 Charge Splashback folding tire, which can be used either as a front or a rear tire. Outstanding speed and mud shredding are offered by the tire’s tapered center knobs and low profile.
Giving the Splashback plenty of cornering bite are its concave walled
side knobs. Other major features of the tire are dual tread compound and its 120 TPI kevlar casing. For the 1.8in model, the total weight is only 450g. It is available in 2.1in, as well.
Also making the Splashback unique is its skinwall-effect side wall. This feature enables this
fast rolling and lightweight mountain bike tire to tackle unavoidably variable weather conditions and mountain bike terrain.
