A result of a meticulous experiment conducted by Jamis Bicycles is a new 650b mountain bike for 2012 called Nemesis. During the process, Jamis Bicycles found it difficult to make a choice between steel and aluminum, which lead to choosing neither.
Featured by the Nemesis 650 frame is a PressFit30 bottom bracket shell, Kinesis 7005 triple-butted SuperPlastic Formed (SPF) tubing, over-sized stays, and replaceable derailleur hanger. Its frame specs also include 1.5 – 1 1/8″ tapered head, sloping top, over-sized seat, and crown-clearing down tubes.
Along with the frame is the X-Fusion Velvet RL 650B fork that has 100mm travel, 32mm stanchions, air spring, tapered alloy steerer, and magnesium lower legs. Whether it is for epic trail riding or racing, the 2012 Jamis Nemesis 650B Mountain Bike is ideal for riders who are serious on the hardtails.
