Felt Bicycles has upgraded its lineup of mountain bikes for 2012. Compared to the Edict line introduced in 2011, the 2012 LTD Pro versions are still similar featuring 2×10 drivetrains. Using UHC Ultimate plus Nano mix, the Edict LTD will be nicely kitted with a Fox 32 F100 FIT Remote fork and RP23 Boost Valve rear shock.

Offering a full XTR bike, the Virtue line has an added LTD model.

With an upgraded construction, the Nine Team has an added weight to its frame with approximately 30g. A considerable amount of durability is added to the frame as well. Moreover, the 2012 Nine Team, which will cost a little more, features a full SRAM XO 2×10 drivetrain and RockShox SID.

Another impressive offer of the 2012 Felt Mountain Bikes Nine lineup is an alloy race bike called Race. The Race weighs approximately 11kg.

Felt Bicycles has new road and cyclocross bikes for 2012. Very similar to the 2011 lineup, the road bikes include the F-Series, the AR-Series, the Z-Series, and the ZW-Series. Aside from the reduced price, the road bike line features Ultegra Di2 gruppo and a new beautiful model called F4130.

Another addition to the mountain bike market was released by Mavic for 2012 with its new Fury shoes. Aside from its added strength and durability, the new Fury is made lighter than its predecessor at 30g per pair, yielding to a total weight of 350g per shoe.

Included in its new features are its improved ratchet buckle and strap, which provide a stronger closure. This is done by combining a sturdier spring in the buckle and deeper ratchet valleys on the strap. For the sole, a stiffer and lighter unidirectional carbon weave was used.
