Claud Butler, a well-known old British name, now linked to budget bikes, has launched a new road bike this 2011 called Torino. It has some nice features, such as supportive handling and amazing comfort guaranteed by the decent Ritchey saddle, seatpost, stem, and bar.

With the help of its non-concealed cables, the Tiagra kit features an incredibly light shifting action. An excellent gear range is also provided by the compact 50/34T chainset and 11-25T cassette. Riders could go up to a 27T sprocket for more help on tackling the hills.

Since it is not specced with an extended head tube that some comfort-orientated bikes are, the Torino could be used with a set of clip-on tri bars for the occasional time trial or triathlon. But because of its heavy wheelset, the 2011 Claud Butler Torino Road Bike may not be suitable for serious competitive riders.
