Fans of the exciting Giro d’Italia will want to get their hands on the amazing 2011 Battaglin Start, which symbolizes everything great about the race and cycling.
The Start from Battaglin features a 7005 HT Alloy frame working exclusively with a Battaglin 1″ 1/8 carbon alloy fork with some Campagnolo Xenon/ Veloce 10s for its groupset.
Rear and front mech as well as the shifter is covered by the Campagnolo Veloce 10s while the bike’s chain and cassette is covered and supplied by Miche Reflex.
Banking on strength and comfort rather than on any other characteristics for cyclocross bikes, the new Battaglin Start has been built with great elements and gears attached to it, including FSA Vero compact 50-34 T crankarms and FSA Power Pro BB7420 aluminum bbs or bottom brackets.
What really makes this new bike such an astounding product is the attention to detail in every product, which has been a trademark for most of Giovanni Battaglin’s handmade Italian bikes.
The bikes retail for $1115.61 and is available online through various bike specialty sites and Battaglin’s main webpage.
