Included in the 2012 major update of the Swiss company BMC’s TrailFox is a full carbon fiber version of the 150mm full suspension bike. The updates include a tapered headtube, cleaner cable routing, 12×142 bolt-thru rear axle, post-style rear brake mounts, and provision for a dropper seatpost.
Touted as a real all-rounder, the 2012 BMC TrailFox TF01 Carbon is capable of enduro, freeride and marathon riding. Suspension feel and performance of the bike were modified by the BMC designers though the virtual pivot suspension configuration called Advanced Pivot System (APS) linkage system.
One of the great features of the bike is the reduced adverse effects of braking and pedaling forces from the suspension. For riders who are looking for just one bike that can tackle long uphills, technical trails and demanding downhills, the 2012 BMC Trailfox TF01 Carbon Bike is the perfect choice.
