Truvativ has finally made the crankset available to the public used by Steve Peat, who is the 2009 Downhill World Champion. A specified downhill-race crank, Truvativ used the same forged alloy 7050 arm material found in the DH Holzfeller freeride bike. But with a second-shaving 822g package, which is 240g less than the Holzfeller. The Descendant is built with a totally renewed GXP bottom bracket with Gutter Seal Technology.
The 2011 Truvativ Descendant crankset comes with a podium that has no room for compromise. Available in three arm lengths to choose from, 165mm, 170mm and 175mm All come in black color with two gear ratio options, 36t and 38t. Recommended chain is 9/10 Speed compatible.
