Riders looking for a road bike with some serious attitude should definitely get their hands on Taiwan based bike maker Ragley Cragg’s latest offering, the 2011 Ragley Cragg Vale Winter Frameset.
While not available as a complete bike but rather just a frameset there are a lot of things that makes this unique frameset better than the rest of the competition. For starters, the Cragg Vale is a perfect winter frameset. It would particularly appeal to riders who want to get more ride times even in the winter or people who would like to have a dependable bike, perfect for commuting on the way to work.
The 2011 Cragg Vale works great with a single rear dropout eye as well as mudguard mounts, rack mounts, two bottle cage mounts and a standard 1.125 inch headtube with an internal headset. The frameset is also designed around standard sized reach brakes while the frameset brake blocks are lowered all the way to the bottom to maximize the tire clearance for the frameset.
The Cragg Vale frameset can work well with a 23c tire with a mudguard or a 28c tires without any mudguard. The frame also weighs, on average, 1.6kg and includes a carbon fork with an alloy steerer, a headset, top cap, seat clamp and 3M reflective stickers set for your added safety.
The frameset is currently priced at $535.
