has been cranking out great, inexpensive and high performance gears and equipments for riders and for 2011, RaceFace introduces its new 2011 RaceFace Turbine Crank sports RaceFace’s signature I-Beam arm profiling as well as smooth shifting turbine rings.
Gunning for the classic race face look, the bike is fully forged for maximum resistance against fatigue as well as CNC machined to make it stronger. The I-Beam profiling minimizes the weight while at the same time preserving strength and stiffness. The Turbine also has chainrings that are 100% CNC machined from super-hard 7075 aluminum for maximum resistance against wear and tear as well as impact strength.
Finally, the bike is also boasting of the RaceFace EXI interface external bottom bracket system to help ease crank installation as well as removal with the use of standard tools. The turbine crank ships in various sizes, including 170, 175, 180mm and 68/73 mm BB shell and is also available in a BB92 press fit or even a BB30 conversion bottom bracket assembly.
The turbine weighs a whopping 850g.
