BeOne might just have something new and promising in the road bike frameset department with its 2011 BeOne Raw Carbon Frameset and fork.
The frameset is being tagged at 920g and also boasts of the Hot Melt construction technique, which lessens the resin content of the carbon-fiber finish as well as the standard BeOne Double Chamber technology. The same technology is being used for both the downtube and fork legs giving, the overall run an added wall of stiffness inside the relevant tube.
Its Netherland-based manufacturer has also claimed that the frameset reduces vibrations from the Double chamber fork legs and an enhanced stiffness for the downtube, making controls, handling, steering and power transmission better.
The frameset will also include a 1.125” to 1.5” fork steerer, internal cable routing and a BB30 bottom bracket housing. The frame set from BeOne can also take a 31.6mm seatpost, replaceable rear derailleur hanger, double bottle bosses and has several accessories, including an integrated headset, aluminum steerer and seatpost clamp. This nifty new frameset is priced at $2079.00 and is available in different sizes from 52 cm to 62 cm.
