The Ghost AMR Lector 8700 Suspension Bike 2011 has been updated with carbon seat and chain stays to greatly reduce its weight. The four-bar Horst Link suspension system, which allows 120mm travel, is housed inside a carbon fiber frameset. Also, both the front triangle and rocker linkage are made from carbon. Its proven geometry makes it ideal for tours, marathons and down hill.
With anti-squat technology, the Ghost AMR Lector 8700 Suspension Bike 2011 offers efficient power transmission, enhances traction and eliminates unwanted bobbing. To boost stiffness and stability, the housing width is increased. Adding to the mountain bike’s efficient features is its the hollow-forged MBB (Multifunctional Bottom Bracket). The MBB functions as a bottom bracket adapter, main bearing for the chain stay, connection to the down tube, damper linkage and connection to the seat tube. Through the innovative needle bearing system, friction and break-away torque are reduced. Its E-type technology reduces leverage. Other features are balanced center of gravity and perfect weight distribution.
