With a slight stretched wheelbases and a marginally less aggressive cornering geometry, the 2011 Jamis Xenith Enduras 3 features stability and comfort. An added length to the head tubes allows less of a drop in the handlebars, reduces neck and back strain but compromises a little aerodynamic slickness.
The wheels feature American Classic Victory 30, Victory Ultralight hubs, sealed bearing, 18/24H, and bladed spokes that make the bike superlight and allow great speed. The combined compact cranks and 11-28 or 32 tooth cogs are a great help to riders on climbs and descents. This Jamis road bike has full carbon hollow-crown fork, full high modulus carbon fiber, and Dyad Ultra lay-up.
The fork of the Xenith Enduras 3 road bike is a Jamis full carbon composite, featuring a 1.5” hollow formed crown and forged one-piece dropouts with replaceable derailleur hanger and eyelets. It also has a Ritchey Pro drop-in headset, Vittoria Rubino Pro folding tires, a KMC DX10SC chain, and FSA BB30 BB set. Shimano Ultegra RD-6700 rear derailleur and Ultegra FD-6700 braze-on front derailleur with 34.9 mm alloy clamp are also housed on the bike. Other Shimano Ultegra components are the shift levers and cassette. The crankset is FSA SLK Lite hollow carbon compact for BB30. The brake set consists of Shimano BR650 long reach dual pivot calipers with Ultegra ST-6700 STI levers.
