An expertly crafted frame from renowned bicycle frame builder Cinelli is to drop this year. The 2011 Cinelli Zydeco Cyclocross frame is a product of precision from the noted frame builder together with the creative inputs of the Cinelli Down Under racing team from Belgium.
The new frameset was built using the sturdy, lightweight Columbus Zonal triple butted aluminum tubing. Its Pro Cyclocross geometry consists of a longer wheel base for mud clearance and stable handling, a higher bottom bracket and for superior handling, the head tube has been adjusted to become steeper. Finally, the frameset also follows a distinctly semi sloping geometry in order to improve the overall performance during a ride. The frameset also ships with a derailleur adaptor, perfect for switching on the fly.
The 2011 Cinelli Zydeco cyclocross bike is being dubbed as a first class frameset in the cycling world, and based off the specifications and fan base reaction, it definitely qualifies as a contender.
