The first half of his schedule is finalized, and he told Spanish daily El Mundo that he will kick things off with the Tour Down Under, and will also be at the Tour de France. Italian Ivan Basso has extended with Team Liquigas for another two years. Allegedly, he did so after his former team, Saxo Bank, made him another offer. Basso has signed with the team through 2012, with the option for a third year. He has been with Liquigas since returning from a two-year doping suspension.
