Topeak 2011 iPhone Dry Bag

If you listen to your iPhone or iPod while cycling and ride during the rainy season, Topeak has released the iPhone Dry Bag as a part of its 2011 accessories.
The Topeak iPhone Dry Bag uses a TPU touch window, allowing you to switch songs while riding, and molded foam that absorbs shock encountered on the road.
You can mount the iPhone dry bag to your stem, handlebars or top tube. Two fastening options are available: the QuickClick™ system and optional stem cap mount.
Weighing in at a mere 45 grams, the iPhone dry bag is available at Topeak retailers.

Listening to music while cycling? Not in London, too dangerous. Excellent for satnav though.
Love this new gadget, I can now plug in where I want to ride.
Where do you plug in?
stil waterproof with the headphones on?
I want to try on my mtb…is it wise?
I bought and tried this one on my road bike today. Went back to the store and returned it after 10 minutes.
The plastic clamp is made of fragile plastic and will break soon if you try to move it between bikes/positions. It also has a plastic screw for fastening which deforms and render the whole thing useless if you ever want to move it.
The QuickClick is flimsy and feels like it wont hold my $800 iPhone 4 long. And this on a roadbike, I would never even want to try it on a mtb. As seen in the backside picture the QuickClick is stitched on the pouch ans these stitches move around a bit. When assembled, the whole thing builds pretty high which they intentionally are trying to hide in the pictures.
The TPU touch window works but is a bit small to allow big swipe gestures (like on a map).
The big problem with the plastic windows is that it reflects so much sunlight you can hardly see anything on screen. It is also a bit wavy which creates weird patterns when pressed against the screen.
I do not recommend this product at all, waste of money. Be sure to keep your receipt if buying it!
