The Epicon 29er fork is SR Suntour‘s offer for 2011. It comes in 100mm and 80mm together with a 15mm Q-Loc through axle. The lower is made with a magnesium monocoque through axle design that guarantees a lightweight yet durable suspension.

The 29er fork has taper wall aluminum stanchions with a gold anodized finish and air cartridges to shave off weight. For easy tune up, the Epicon has a circlip inside the damper cartridge. This knob lets you tune the fork with increments of 5mm and 10mm (change from 80mm to 85mm or 100mm to 90mm).

With an air pressure adjust, remote lock out and rebound adjust, the Epicon 29er fork weighs 1850g.

For 2011, Turner Bikes made a few changes with its Sultan XC/trail bike. The 120mm of travel with the dw-link suspension system went under review to ensure that the relationship of the dw-link placing, bottom bracket height and chainstay length goes well. The goal is to have the power transfer go smoothly through the 29-inch wheels.

These changes include a 44mm head tube that allow for a Cane Creek 1.5″ external cup and inset 1 1/8″ upper cup. Now in anodized paint finish, the Sultan can also be fitted with a 1 1/8″ steer tube with an inset Cane Creek headset.

Another modification was the lowered bottom bracket. With a possibility of using a 140mm travel fork, Turner also tweaked the junction of the seat tube and top tube.

Sunn relaunches its downhill race bike Radical for 2011 with 200mm of travel. Keeping its rocker link/connecting rod concept, the Radical now comes with a steel rear triangle, making the most of the compression and performance the modified frame offers.

The 2011 Radical now has a tapered headtube of 1 1/8″-1 1/2″ for added strength to the aluminum front end. For more options on the rear suspensions, there’s also a new extension on the steel rear. As for plushness, the force of impact will not affect the speed due to the elastic quality of steel. Breaking the Rapha Bomber Jacket down, it features waterproof tough fabric on the shoulders that prevents rips occurring from messenger bag straps.

The body of the Bomber jacket is composed of breathable water resistant materials, while the front panels uses brushed polyester to fight against the wind.

Rapha has paid a fair amount of attention to detail with its Bomber jacket. For example, Rapha placed a small hole on the front for an iPod and cable loops to run it up the shoulder.
