The Specialized Allez 16 for 2011 brings lightness and speed to long-distance riding. With its A1 Premium aluminum frame, the Allez 16 also has a FACT carbon fork with an aluminum crown and steerer on carbon legs. This setup provides maximum comfort over bumps on the road as speed increases.
The 16-geared road bike comes with Shimano 2300 drivetrain. The 68mm x 113mm bottom bracket has a Cr-Mo axle while a light dual pivot brake system features standard adjustable pads and Teflon pivots.
Specialized uses its Elite 31.8 mm handlebar, alloy stem, alloy two-bolt clamp 27.2mm Sport seatpost and a saddle from Body Geometry Riva Road with steel rails. Black cage pedals with body and toe clips and strap keep feet super secure when pedaling.
The 2011 Allez 16 has Mavic rims, forged aluminum hubs, stainless steel spokes and Specialized All Condition Sport tires. Total weight is approximately 21.94lbs (9.95kg) for the 58cm size.
