Lapierre modifies the DH920 for 2011 with the Pendbox suspension system. The frame, which was developed by Nicolas Vouilloz, highlights an integrated seat clamp, a rear triangle made from carbon, a head angle that’s adjustable and internal cable routing. Lighter by 300g, the DH920 promises pedal efficiency combined with performance traction for a true blue downhill race bike.
Other than the carbon frame and the alloy suspension, the 2011 DH920 has a Fox DHX RC4 shock and a Fox 40 RC2 FIT fork. The bottom bracket is a SRAM GXP integrated bearings with a pressfit SRAM Descendant crankset. Seatpost, handlebar and stem is from Easton with SRAM X0 rear derailleur and shifters. Orange/black Formula One Factory 203 brakes, Selle Italia saddle, Mavic rims and Hutchinson tires with SRAM sprocket completes the downhill bike’s parts and components.
The DH920 or DH Team, weighs 16.6kg and retails for £5749.99.
