The 2011 RT series from Ghost Bikes is deemed to be where hardtail speed meets all-mountain damping performance. The RT range characteristically offer increased traction performance for uphill rides and faster downhill rides due to less pedal bobbing action. It comes in Ghost Bike’s Actinum and Lector classification where the former pertains to aluminum frames while the latter is for a carbon fiber front triangle with an alloy rear.
The RT Lector has 5 models. These are the RT Lector 5700, 7700, 9000, World Cup and Pro Team. The top model, RT Lector Pro Team features a SID XX World Cup fork with a DT XR carbon shock and SRAM XX components. It comes with a Tune Princess and Prince No Tubes Race wheelset.
Other than the RT Lector Pro Team, the RT Lector World Cup is also for those who are into racing. DT Tricon wheelset, Shimano XTR and a For 32 Float FIT fork with remote lockout equips this bike for serious speed.
The RT Lector 5700 has a Reba RL fork, X-fusion shock and a 10-speed X.7 drivetrain. As for the 7700, it has a 10-speed XT drivetrain and Fox RP 23 shock while the 9000 comes with an XT/XTR mix and RockShox SIP RLT fork.
The RT Actinum series has the 7500, 5900 and the 5700. The RT Actinum 7500 uses a 10-speed XT groupset with Fox RP 23 shock while the 5900 uses a 10-speed SLX components. On the other hand, the 5700 has a 10-speed X.7 drivetrain, SRAM hubs with lockout and rebound adjustments for its RockShox Reba RL (front) and X-fusion O2 RL (rear) shocks.
