The 2011 Culebro 1.0 from Focus is tagged as everyman’s bike. Great for both casual riding or serious racing, the Culebro 1.0 features a tapered headtube, a hydroformed aluminum frame that’s triple-butted and carbon fork. A BB30 bottom bracket system goes well with its hollow tubing technology for more clearance and stiffness.
Coming with FSA bar, seatpost and stem, the Culebro 1.0 receives stopping power from Shimano Ultegra brakes and shifters. The Shimano Ultegra drivetrain runs on a triple gear ratio of 52/39/30 for the front and 11-28 for the rear. Continental Ultra Sport tires and a DT Swiss wheelset finishes off the build.
The seatstays meet chainstays on a single flow that keeps the back wheel rigid and mounted on its frame for increased comfort and lateral stability. Made in Germany, the 2011 Focus Culebro 1.0 retails for $2200.
