Specialized designed the Format saddle for downhill riding, making it tough yet comfortable to ride on. It has a wide midsection and a rounded profile that aims to reduce or eliminate pressure on sensitive arteries around the crotch area. The Format saddle underwent rigorous lab testing with the patented Body Geometry design that takes into consideration type of saddle position, preferred discipline and if the rider is male or female.
The Format features EVA padding that is dense and light at the same time, giving a plush ride even during long day rides. Encased in a carbon reinforced shell, it has hollow chromoly rails, which makes the Format durable and longer lasting. It also has a Micromatrix cover that’s water-resistant with anti-slip qualities. MSRP is $70….
