Tapping into the market of long-distance riding, Volagi introduces the 2011 Venga SL road bike. Its form, shape and geometry are designed specific to meet the demands of endurance cyclists. Its design includes a pass through for the seat tube, top tube and its seat stays are forged as one. Vertical travel is also available for damping and flexibility at the rear.
The SL frame is made from 30/24T high-modulus carbon fiber. It uses Dura-Ace components that feature the latest STI carbon levers. As for the bottom bracket, FSA SL-K BB30 crank system is in place with its monocoque composite design. For added stiffness, it possess a 30mm AL 7075 spindle with AL 7075 T6 CNC’d 50/34 chain ring.
Volagi uses an E7 Sync Ti saddle for its ergonomic design and multi-postition platform. This has a cutout feature for better circulation. The saddle has a microfiber cover with UltraLite foam on its Dual Density suspension base and titanium rails.
The wheels are E7 Ignite SL. They are made from high-modulus carbon with a 30mm x 25mm aero profile clincher rim. FSA bar and stem and Avid BB7 disc brakes match other components that complete the Venga SL as durable, functional and fast. MSRP is $5595.
