Orbea takes a step into the cyclocross arena with its 2011 Terra Silver and Terra A. For the Terra Silver, Orbea uses ATT Ergonomy System technology and matches this with a monocoque carbon construction to deliver a light, reliable and rigid frame. The asymmetrical horizontal frame and four-point rear triangle provides for better shouldering while the DCR direct cabling system gives less friction, more smoothness and greater precision and comfort while riding obstacle courses through mud.
The Terra Silver has the following specs: frame and fork are Orbea Terra Carbon, FSA GOSSAMER 46×36 BB30 crankset, Semi-integrated 1 1/8″ headset, Orbea Aluminum Pro for the handlebar and stem and Shimano 105 drivetrain.
The Terra A or Terra Alu TTG features almost the same innovations as the Terra Silver. To add, it uses a thick Orbea aluminum material yet optimized to be light as you battle through the mud. Cross carbon AC fork, FSA GOSSAMER 46×36 crankset, Shimano Tiagra components and Vittoria Cross tires makes the Terra A, race-ready and up for any route or road challenge.
