2011 Giant TCR Advanced 1

Giant takes the TCR Advanced 1 to a whole new level in 2011. It now has the Shimano Ultegra 6700 drivetrain, Giant’s Contact handlebar and stem and Michelin Pro3 Light folding tires. The TCR Advanced 1 is made with Giant’s Advanced-Grade composite materials, andcrafted and shaped in a monocoque construction, which results in an extremely light yet highly durable frame.
For 2011, the Compact Road Design element was present in the TCR Advanced 1. The compact configuration equates to more speed while keeping it stiff yet comfortable with its vertical compliance adjustment. With a PowerCore bottom bracket and OverDrive headtube, the TCR Advanced 1 enables a better climb and sprint experience.
Average retail price for a complete bike is $3100. It comes in 6 sizes with the total weigh of the bike dependent on its components and parts.

Really would love to hear a clear definition of this “vertical compliance adjustment” that is referred to here in this brief review. It seems vertical compliance is bandied about throughout the bicycle industry and nary a word about how it is being achieved; merely that it is ambiguously there somehow!!!
wanna to know the specific WT spread for comparison with other brand similar model
Hi All, I just put one on layby and I cant wait to get on it. Is there anyone out there that can forward some info regarding the bike? Thanks,
I have owned this bike now for a few months and can honestly say it is a absolute joy to ride. I test rode quite a few (Trek Madone 4.5, Felt, specialized) and have to say this was the most comfortable and gave the most for the money. It is EXTREMELY light (haven’t had it on a scale but would guess 16 lbs-ish). Shifts are precise and quick. It climbs like a beast and will take whatever mashing you want to hand it. I only added carbon bottle cages and a garmin gps.
