Cannondale introduces its top Elite road range called SuperSix with its first Shimano 105 groupset in the SuperSix 5 105 model for 2011. The latest road bike also features oversized Beatbox BB area and hourglass shaped rear stays. For better torsional stiffness, Cannondale incorporates 1-1/8″ to 1-1/2″ tapered carbon steerer and Hollowgram Si SL BB30 crank system in the SuperSix 5 105.
The SuperSix 5 105 chainset is a compact 50/34T or 53/39T FSA Gossamer while the saddle is a Prologo Scratch Pro T2.0. Other details include Mavic Aksiums for wheels with Shimano RS10 rims, hubs and spokes. For brakes, it has Tektro R580 dual pivot and Shimano 105 shifters and levers.
The 2011 Cannondale SuperSix 5 105 weighs 7.9kg and comes in two colors, matte Exposed Carbon and Team Replica.
