Known for its wide range of folding bikes, Dahon launches its latest product line for 2011, which mainly features folding bikes. Here are the 2011 Dahon Vector X10, X20 and X27h.

The Dahon 2011 Vector bikes have a patented hydroformed frame that offers torsional stiffness and a stylish look. Dahon stated that its Vector line up for 2011 is the most flexible folding bikes they’ve ever designed.

Vector X10 is a 10-speed bike that uses a custom 55T FSA crankset, coming in at a light weight of 17lbs (7.8kg). X10′s wheelset is composed of Rocket-fast Kinetix Pro and custom Schwalbe Durano tires.

Vector X20 features its 20-speed SRAM Red drivetrain, Kinetix Pro wheelset and SRAM DoubleTap shifters, which provide a smoother shifting experience. Vector X20 weighs in at 20.2lbs (9.2kg).

Lacoste and Look have came together for this collaboration, using an urban city bike as their silhouette.

On October 9th, the Trek K-Swiss team took to the Ironman World Championship in Kona Hawaii. Representing Trek/K-Swiss was Julie Dibens, Chris Lieto, and Fraser Cartmell. For the event, Trek made four custom Speed Concept triathlon bikes.

The Trek K-Swiss Custom Speed Concepts were made in different colorways, three representing specific cyclists. The red/white-blue Speed Concept is Chris Lieto’s, Julie Dibens has the sky blue/white/red model, and Fraser Cartmell was issued the blue/black-white tri-bike. The last Speed Concept uses traditional colors, adding the K-Swiss logo.

Montague is a corporation located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Its claim to fame is selling the “Paratrooper” folding bikes to the US Military.

The Montague Fold Up Paratrooper bike will release in a “Pro” version this Winter for $1,049.

Paratrooper received its name from soldiers strapping the bike to their backs while parachuting from an airplane. Upon landing, the soldiers would detach the folding bike and ride into the fields.

The Paratrooper is not your traditional folding bike. Fully assembled, the Paratrooper is a 26 inch mountain bike with 24 speeds. No tools are required for assembly.

Surprisingly, the Montague Paratrooper only comes in Army green (sarcasm).

Giro helmets gets fashionably hip with new designs by Paul Smith. The fashion designer’s love for cycling goes a long way back and with his collaboration with Giro, Smith shows off three helmets bearing his signature.

Smith explains further, “With cycling becoming ever more popular especially in cities, making a bike helmet which we feel good in is quite difficult. I think the shape of these helmets is really great and the matt finishes are really good. Apart from offering them in plain colors I have also added some colorful designs to them which I hope add more fun to something which could save your life.”

The Giro helmets have an in-mold construction in a basic hard shell shape. There are three designs featured by Smith. These are crayon-like stripes, animal faces and abstract. Retail price for the Paul Smith helmet is $95.
