2011 Scott Addict RC Road Bike
Mark Cavendish won 5 stages in the 2010 Tour de France on the Scott Addict RC, and Scott dealers should be receiving the 2011 model soon.
The 2011 Scott Addict RC weighs in at 14.32 pounds, with the frame and fork constructed of HMX-Net fiber, and IMP 3 tech. The bike is staked with Shimano Dura Ace drivetrain, and a mixture of Ritchey Superlogic – WCS carbon components.
A smooth ride is provided by Mavic Ksyrium SL wheelset, and Continental Grand Prix 4000 tires. Colors on the 2011 Addict RC are black, yellow, and white, which are the same as the HTC Columbia – Scott team jerseys.
Retail price is at $8,999.
Striking graphics in an ultra light weight offering, especially given the wheel choice which to some may be light but definitely not ultra light. Can not tell what type of frame construction method was executed here, tube to tube or monoque???
